Support for Victims of Domestic Violence
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line operates under the toll-free helpline number 800 154 030. Legal and psychological consultations are available in person in Toruń. Legal advice is also provided on designated dates during monthly outreach sessions held in six other cities across the region.
The Blue Line is staffed daily by a lawyer and a psychologist who provide assistance with matters related to domestic violence and family problems. Their support is available, among others, to individuals seeking advice on parental authority, child contact arrangements, child support, and issues related to addiction. Consultants are on duty every day, including public holidays and weekends, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line is supervised by the regional government, which finances its operation in cooperation with 140 municipalities.
Victims may also contact representatives of the Family Support, Violence Prevention and Addiction Services Office of the Marshal’s Office by calling +48 503 101 201. Detailed information is available at: niebieskalinia.kujawsko-pomorskie.pl.
Legal consultants provide services not only in Toruń. Once a month, residents can also meet with specialists in Bydgoszcz, Włocławek, Grudziądz, Inowrocław, Brodnica, and Chełmno.
