Extraordinary Session of the Regional Parliament
An extraordinary session of the Regional Parliament has been convened for tomorrow (16 July). During the session, the Marshal of the Region will present information on the current situation in the region’s self-government healthcare institutions. Invitations have been extended to the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivode, the Patient Rights Ombudsman, members of the Social Council of the Regional Integrated Hospital in Toruń, as well as representatives of institutions responsible for supervising and auditing public healthcare facilities and medical trade unions. The session will be streamed live online from 2:00 p.m.
The meeting will also be attended by the directors of all seven hospitals operated by the regional self-government the Oncology Centre in Bydgoszcz, the Regional Children’s Hospital in Bydgoszcz, the Regional Integrated Hospital in Toruń, the Regional Specialist Hospital in Włocławek, the Regional Mental Health Hospital in Świecie, the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Centre of Pulmonology, and the Regional Infectious Diseases and Observation Hospital.
The seven hospitals operated by the regional self-government are consistently modernised, excellently equipped, and well managed institutions, where highly qualified medical professionals save the health and lives of their patients while upholding the highest professional and ethical standards.
