Another Season Full of Cycling Activity

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region is inviting cycling enthusiasts to take part in the sixteenth edition of the “Kujawsko-Pomorskie on Bicycles” event series. This year’s edition features a rich calendar of events – from family cycling rallies to demanding expeditions for more experienced cyclists. It is a great opportunity to spend time actively and discover the most beautiful corners of the region.

“Residents of Kujawy and Pomorze are increasingly choosing cycling as their main form of active recreation. It is a perfect way to discover the charming places of our region. I encourage entire families to take part in the rallies,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The season will begin on 26 April in Chodecz (Włocławek County), where participants will set off on routes leading through picturesque lake districts and recreational areas of Kujawy. On 17 May, cyclists will gather in Chrostkowo (Lipno County) for a family rally in the peaceful scenery of the Dobrzyń Land region.

The next event will take place on 20 June – the Piast Cycling Rally on the route Pakość – Kościelec (Inowrocław County), combining active recreation with discovering the history of the Piast Trail. The following month (25 – 26 July), the St. James Cycling Relay is planned – a two-day expedition on the route Dobrzyń nad Wisłą – Dobre – Kruszwica – Mogilno.

Further rallies will be held in August: on 8 August in Strzelno (Mogilno County), promoting local tourism and Romanesque monuments, and on 14 August – a surprise rally, the details of which will be announced soon by the organizers.

The longest rally, organized as part of the “Eskapada. Discover Your Region with a Guide” initiative, is scheduled for 11 – 13 September – a route of more than 200 kilometres designed for experienced cyclists, combined with exploring local history, nature, and attractions.

The season finale will be a rally starting in Cekcyn on 3 October, leading through the picturesque landscapes of the Tuchola Forest.

More information about the events is available on the organizer’s website.
