We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the high school graduates!

Seventeen thousand graduates from the region are taking the matura exam. Today (May 4) they sit the written Polish exam, tomorrow (May 5) mathematics, and from Wednesday (May 6) foreign languages. Results will be announced in July.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed and wish you very good results that will allow everyone to pursue studies in their dream fields. Good luck!” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Across the country, 340,000 students are taking the matura in two formats: the new one introduced in 2023 and the old one (for lower high school graduates) from 2015. Depending on the format, students have 240 or 170 minutes to complete the basic-level Polish exam.

The matura exams will end on May 30.
