“Agricola – Son of the Soil” – Submit a Candidate!
Applications are now open for the prestigious annual competition for the Marshal of the Region’s Award, “Agricola – Son of the Soil.” The initiative aims to recognize the best, most innovative and entrepreneurial farmers, as well as socially active women living in rural areas.
“Entrepreneurial, resourceful, full of enthusiasm and ideas—this is what farmers from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region are like. Thanks to your commitment, passion, and the heart you put into your work, we produce food of very high quality,” said Marshal Piotr Całbecki as he opened last year’s award ceremony gala.
Winners are selected in three categories:
- traditional agriculture,
- agricultural innovation,
- entrepreneurial woman / socially active woman.
Candidates may be nominated by, among others, local government units, agricultural organizations, agricultural advisory centers, and non-governmental organizations.
