We Will Honor the Best Occupational Therapists – Applications Accepted Until July 15
For the eighth time, the most effective and dedicated occupational therapy professionals will be honored with special awards presented by the Regional Executive Board. We invite vocational and social reintegration institutions, educational and medical facilities, as well as health resorts and rehabilitation centers to nominate candidates. Regulations and application form.
“Occupational therapy is a relatively young profession, often regarded as a profession of the future. Demand for its practitioners continues to grow, partly due to demographic trends. We want to highlight its social importance. We are committed to ensuring that the best specialists – whose expertise and attitude toward those in their care command the highest respect – become role models for the professional community, especially for young people entering the field,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Occupational therapy is a form of physical, psychological, social, and vocational rehabilitation that involves engaging participants in various purposeful and productive organized activities, including creative activities (art therapy) and handicrafts, as well as movement and relaxation exercises. It is widely used, among others, in occupational therapy workshops and social welfare homes.
The competition results will be announced in October as part of the Occupational Therapist Day celebrations.
