We Mourn with You
I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic rail accident in Castilla-La Mancha. My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims and with all those affected by this tragedy.
On behalf of the regional self-government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, I extend my deepest condolences to everyone affected by this tragic event. The memory of the victims of the Otłoczyn rail disaster remains very much alive in our region. We know how painful the loss of loved ones is and how deeply it affects the lives of families and the wider community.
Just a month ago, I visited Toledo to chair a meeting of the European Committee of the Regions’ Commission for Natural Resources (NAT).
We stand in solidarity with the people and authorities of Castilla-La Mancha in their grief and mourning. We are with you in these difficult times.
