The Richness of Spain in Children’s Drawings
Blue skies, golden seaside beaches, colourful streets, flamenco dancers, exquisite cuisine, and famous Spaniards are among the themes featured in hundreds of artworks submitted by young people for the regional art competition ¡Hola España! Member of the Regional Executive Board Marek Wojtkowski took part in today’s (19 May) summary event. The best works can now be viewed at an exhibition in the Marshal’s Office.
“It is wonderful to see young people eager to discover Spain. It is a fascinating, exotic, multicultural country that is truly worth getting to know,” said regional board member Marek Wojtkowski at the Centre of Contemporary Art.
The event was also attended by Esther Vaquero Gutiérrez, Secretary General of the Education Counsellor’s Office at the Embassy of Spain.
