Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Day, established in 2008, is celebrated on 7 June, commemorating the anniversary of the papal visits to the Kujawy and Pomorze regions. John Paul II visited our region twice: on 6 and 7 June 1991, he was in Włocławek, and on 7 June 1999, he made a pilgrimage to Bydgoszcz and Toruń.
