Support for People Affected by Domestic Violence

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line helpline is available free of charge at 800 154 030. Legal consultants and psychologists can be consulted in person in Toruń. Legal advice is also available on designated days during monthly consultation sessions held in six other cities across our region.

“Domestic violence often remains hidden from those around us, and people experiencing it do not always know where to seek help. This is why it is so important for support to be easily accessible, including in situations where quick legal advice or a conversation with a psychologist is needed. The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line provides residents of our region with practical assistance and the reassurance that they are not alone in difficult circumstances,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The Blue Line is staffed every day by a lawyer and a psychologist who provide assistance in matters related to domestic violence or family problems. Support is available, among others, to people seeking advice on the exercise of parental responsibility, arrangements for personal contact with a child, maintenance obligations and addiction-related problems. Consultants are available every day, including public holidays and other non-working days, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Blue Line is supervised by the regional government, which finances its operation in cooperation with 140 municipalities.

Representatives of the Family Support, Violence Prevention and Addiction Prevention Office of the Marshal’s Office, who also provide assistance to people affected by violence, can be contacted at 503 101 201. Detailed information is available at niebieskalinia.kujawsko-pomorskie.pl.

Legal consultants are on duty not only in Toruń. Once a month, consultations with specialists are also available in Bydgoszcz, Włocławek, Grudziądz, Inowrocław, Brodnica and Chełmno.
