Regional Harvest Festival Rypin 2026
This year, Rypin and Rypin County will host the regional harvest festival celebrations on 30 August. The event is organised by the regional, city and county authorities together with Szymon Stułkowski, Bishop of the Diocese of Płock. The programme will include a grand harvest procession, a handicraft fair and inspiring craft workshops open to everyone, a review of folk bands, an agricultural machinery exhibition and the Miss Rypin Agra’26 beauty pageant. Grzegorz Hyży will be the star of the evening.
“This year, we will thank the farmers of our region for their hard work in the capital of a county whose economy is deeply rooted in agriculture. Here, hard work in the fields and livestock farming, combined with agricultural expertise and sound planning, results in strong harvests and well-deserved satisfaction. Here, tradition meets technology, providing farms with a solid foundation for modern development and economic stability. We will celebrate with pride and gratitude, mindful that it is thanks to our farmers that none of us lacks our daily bread,” emphasises Marshal Piotr Całbecki. “I warmly invite everyone to join us. God bless you all!”
The celebrations will take place at the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Rypin. From 9 a.m., visitors will be able to admire the impressive harvest wreaths entered in this year’s competition for the most beautiful wreath in the region.
The main celebrations will begin at 10.30 a.m. with the grand harvest procession. A solemn Mass celebrated by Bishop Szymon Stułkowski will begin at 11 a.m. It will be followed at 12.30 p.m. by the official part of the event, which is expected to include an address by Marshal Piotr Całbecki and the announcement of the results of this year’s harvest festival competitions (information on the competitions is available in material prepared by the Department of Agriculture and Geodesy).
