Regional Government Supports SMEs in Expanding into Foreign Markets

Five small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region showcased their products and services at the international AutoTech Egypt 2026 trade fair in Cairo last weekend (9–11 October). The aim of the trade mission, organised by the Marshal’s Office and financed through the EU-funded regional programme, was to support local companies in establishing international business contacts.

– Promoting our region’s economic potential helps transform the strengths of Kujawsko-Pomorskie businesses into tangible contracts, business partnerships and opportunities to expand into foreign markets. These efforts contribute to economic development and, ultimately, to the prosperity of our region, emphasises Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The following companies participated in the trade mission to Cairo:

  • Castex Anna Bednarz – manufacturing and distribution of tools and equipment for automotive workshops
  • Kaplast Sp. z o.o. – plastics processing
  • Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Tool Valley – toolmaking and manufacturing industries
  • Złotecki Sp. z o.o. – manufacturing of pistons for internal combustion engines
