Pejzaż bez Ciebie: A Concert in Pictures

The 22nd edition of Pejzaż bez Ciebie (A Landscape Without You), the Festival of Unforgettable Polish Artists, has come to a close. Saturday’s concert paid tribute to the leading female artists of the Polish big beat scene of the 1960s: Mira Kubasińska, Helena Majdaniec, Ada Rusowicz, Kasia Sobczyk and Karin Stanek. The event was attended by Marshal Piotr Całbecki, Chair of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regional Parliament Elżbieta Piniewska and Regional Councillor Katarzyna Stranz-Kaja. Timeless songs by these great artists were performed in arrangements by a band led by Jacek Królik. The line-up featured Anna Rusowicz, Alicja Szemplińska, Katarzyna Dąbrowska, Olga Szomańska, Kamil Bednarek and Łukasz Zagrobelny. The concert was hosted by Maciej Miecznikowski.

The main concert was preceded by a performance by artists who had taken part in the former Festiwal Stachura and its successor, Festiwal CAŁA JASKRAWOŚĆ. The performers were Dominika Dobrosielska, Agata Skrzypek, Mateusz Gądek and Marek Niedzielski. The programme included songs by Czerwone Gitary, Breakout and Niebiesko-Czarni, as well as music by Czesław Niemen and Skaldowie. The singers were accompanied by multi-instrumentalist, arranger and composer Krzysztof Baranowski.
