Inland Waterway Sailor’s Day in Bydgoszcz (photos)

Vice-Marshal Zbigniew Ostrowski and Member of the Region’s Board Marek Wojtkowski took part in ceremonies held in Bydgoszcz on Friday (11 September) to mark the 87th anniversary of the fighting involving the “Wisła” Detached Unit of the River Flotilla of the Polish Navy. The Kujawsko-Pomorskie regional government was a co-organiser of the event. We invite you to view a photo report from the commemorations.

The programme included the laying of flowers at the monument to the “Wisła” Detached Unit, a ceremony with the participation of the military guard of honour of the Polish Navy Representative Company and the Polish Navy Representative Band, a ship parade and river multi-event competition, a Holy Mass for inland waterway sailors, and a sea shanty concert.
