EU funding straight from Brussels? We’ll help you access it!
Today, for the first time, every municipal, commune and county authority across the region is receiving a dedicated information bulletin prepared by the Regional Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region in Brussels. The publication provides up-to-date information on centrally managed EU funding programmes and open calls for project proposals.
With this initiative, the Regional Government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region is launching a comprehensive support system to help local authorities and other organisations across the region access EU funds managed directly by the European Commission.

“From now on, the most important information on centrally managed EU funding opportunities will be delivered to you on a regular basis. There is a common misconception that funding distributed directly from Brussels is difficult to obtain. Nothing could be further from the truth. Accessing these funds is entirely achievable—provided you know how to apply for them,” said Piotr Całbecki, Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.
The initiative aims to provide local and regional authorities, non-governmental organisations, businesses, healthcare institutions, universities and research organisations with easy and continuous access to information on funding opportunities available through centrally managed EU programmes.
Three pillars of the new support system
- continuous monitoring of centrally managed EU calls by the Regional Office in Brussels;
- regular email updates on newly published and ongoing funding opportunities; and
- an online funding search engine (coming soon).
Every local authority—as well as other interested organisations—will receive regular, carefully filtered updates covering all currently open centrally managed EU calls available to applicants from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region. Each overview will include the programme name, application deadline, eligible applicants, funding rate, a concise description and a direct link to the detailed documentation available on the European Commission’s Funding & Tenders Portal.
In the coming months, a modern online platform will also be launched, enabling users to search and filter funding opportunities by beneficiary type, thematic area, EU programme, funding level and application deadline. The search engine will be freely accessible to all organisations in the region, including local authorities, NGOs, businesses, healthcare providers, universities and research institutions.
The new service marks the first stage in establishing a regional information hub for centrally managed European Union funding. Located in the immediate vicinity of the EU institutions, the Regional Office in Brussels is becoming a permanent source of expertise and information on European funding opportunities for organisations throughout the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.
