Current LAG Calls for Proposals: Further Funding for Youth and Senior Clubs

There are 27 Local Action Groups operating in our region. These partnerships, formed by residents, non-governmental organisations and local authorities, carry out initiatives aimed at engaging local communities with the support of European funding allocated through the Community-Led Local Development instrument (CLLD). LAGs announce calls for proposals on their websites, offering funding for activities that are important to local communities. We encourage you to explore the currently available opportunities.

“By working together with Local Action Groups and the institutions and organisations operating within their structures, we can respond effectively to the real needs and problems of residents. This is possible because we have entrusted local communities with both the funds and the tools needed to make use of them. In this way, we have created a participatory budget on a regional scale,” explains Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Two Local Action Groups have recently announced calls for proposals:

The “Pojezierze Brodnickie” Local Action Group Association is accepting applications until 13 August for projects supporting children and young people outside formal education, including the establishment of youth clubs. The total amount allocated to grant-funded projects under this call is PLN 2 million.

The “Vistula-Terra Culmensis – Development through Tradition” Local Action Group Association has announced a call for proposals for activities supporting social integration. These include initiatives aimed at integrating senior citizens and preventing their exclusion and isolation, such as establishing senior clubs and organising activities within them. Support will be available, among other things, for intergenerational meetings, volunteer clubs, time banks, and performances by artistic groups from senior clubs in schools and kindergartens. The total funding available under this call is PLN 1.5 million, with individual grants ranging from PLN 20,000 to PLN 100,000.

Local Action Groups are organisations established by residents, non-governmental organisations and local authorities. Their purpose is to carry out initiatives that encourage local communities to become more active. There are 27 such partnerships in the voivodeship. They operate in both urban and rural areas and use EU funding managed by the Marshal’s Office, including resources allocated through the Community-Led Local Development instrument. By placing funds and the tools needed to use them in the hands of local communities, we are creating a participatory budget on a regional scale.
Kujawsko-Pomorskie is the only Polish region implementing CLLD on such a large scale.
