2,000 Top Students to Receive Scholarships

The list of over two hundred students who will receive scholarships under the Marshal’s “Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw Plus” (Top Students of Kujawy and Pomorze Plus) program has been announced. This year, financial support will also reach 1,800 young people through the “Prymusi Pomorza i Kujaw II” and “Zawodowe Talenty Kujaw i Pomorza” (Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze) projects.

“A good education is the key to a good future. The regional self-government attaches great importance to the quality of education and does a great deal to ensure that educational expenses do not place an undue burden on family budgets. We want talented young people to have the conditions necessary to fully realize their potential,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The “Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw Plus” program is aimed at students in grades 6 – 8 of primary schools and 1st-degree comprehensive music schools, as well as students of all grades in general secondary schools (liceum), 2nd-degree comprehensive music schools, and fine arts high schools. It also includes first-year students of technical and 1st-degree vocational schools who achieved outstanding results in the previous school year. The scholarships are funded by the regional budget.

“Prymusi Pomorza i Kujaw Plus” in numbers:

  • 222 students will receive scholarships in the 2025/2026 school year.
  • The program budget is 710,000 PLN.
  • Support amounts range from 3,000 to 5,000 PLN.
