NGOs Supporting the Health of People in Kujawy and Pomorze

Health education, the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases, promoting healthy lifestyles, and teaching first aid and emergency response skills are the main areas supported through funding for non-governmental organisations working in health protection and promotion. The funding was allocated through a competition organised by the regional self-government, with grants awarded to ten third-sector organisations.

Competition funding at a glance:

• PLN 120,000 allocated for this purpose
• 10 projects to be implemented
• PLN 15,400 – the highest individual grant awarded

Every year, the regional self-government supports projects carried out by non-governmental organisations in areas including culture, sport, addiction prevention and support, social assistance, health protection, tourism, and activities supporting people with disabilities. This year, a total of PLN 10 million was allocated to the programme.
