20 Years of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone Subzone in Łysomice
Elżbieta Piniewska, President of the Regional Parliament, Marek Wojtkowski, Member of the Regional Executive Board of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, and Kamila Radziecka, President of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Development Fund, took part in the gala celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie subzone of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone (PSEZ) in Łysomice.
The PSEZ subzone in Łysomice, near Toruń, is one of the leading centres of modern industry in northern Poland. It is currently home to 15 companies operating in sectors including industrial automation, electronics, automotive manufacturing, logistics, food processing and precision technologies. The companies include Apator, Sharp Consumer Electronics Poland, Sohbi Craft Poland, Poland Tokai Okaya Manufacturing, Nissin, Nova Trading, MOD21, BAUS, Yusen Logistics, Maflow (Boryszew Group), WAS, Stork, Tioman, and Vitl. Together, they employ approximately 5,000 people.
During yesterday’s (9 July) anniversary gala at Hotel Bulwar in Toruń, attended by representatives of the business community, business support institutions and local governments, the management of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone reviewed two decades of the Łysomice subzone’s development and achievements.
