“Summer in the Constellations” – Kujawsko-Pomorskie Invites Visitors on a Summer Journey Through the Region’s Brands
The Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation is launching a new regional marketing campaign titled “Summer in the Constellations” – a promotional project that, for the first time, will connect the key events of the territorial brands of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region into one coherent story about the region. The campaign is held under the patronage of Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
The summer narrative of the “Kujawsko-Pomorskie Constellations of Good Places” – the region’s umbrella brand aimed at presenting the region as a network of authentic, diverse and complementary places and experiences – will be built around nine unique events.
From Individual Events to a Shared Regional Experience
– “Summer in the Constellations” changes the way we think about regional tourism promotion. Until now, tourist events of interest mainly functioned separately – intensively, but only for a short time. The new project by the Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation combines them into one seasonal cycle in which each event becomes part of a larger story about Kujawsko-Pomorskie – says Marshal Piotr Całbecki. – The idea behind the project is to show that the tourist appeal of our region lies not only in its well-known individual attractions, but also in the relationships between places, their histories, landscapes and the emotions that remain with visitors long afterwards.
In practice, this means a shared visual identity, mutual promotion of subsequent events and building continuity of the tourist experience – so that participants in one event are encouraged to discover more places across the region.
– “Summer in the Constellations” is a project that demonstrates that the strength of our region lies in its diversity connected through a common story. We want to inspire residents and tourists to discover Kujawsko-Pomorskie through emotions, experiences and events that lead from one place to another, encouraging further journeys around the region – emphasises Beata Sawińska, President of the Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation. – It is also an example of broad cooperation between local governments, local tourist organisations, cultural institutions and other partners working for the development of tourism. Thanks to the joint commitment of the organisation’s members and many regional entities, we can build a coherent and modern promotion of the region.
Nine Events – One Summer Story
As part of this year’s edition of “Summer in the Constellations”, nine events supported by the Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation will take place:
- 30 May – Vistula Traditions – picnic in Fordon
- 31 May – Give Yourself Peace – opening of the tourist season in the Brodnica Lake District – Summer in the Constellations
- 20 June – Natural Tourism Festival in Tleń
- 23 June – Vistula Traditions – Midsummer Wreaths on the Vistula in Grudziądz
- 4 July – Region of Active Education in Żnin
- 2 August – picnic under the Kuyavian Sky in Inowrocław
- 15–16 August – Vistula Traditions – Weekend on the Vistula in Chełmno
- 29 August – picnic under the Kuyavian Sky in Ciechocinek
- 20 September – picnic under the Kuyavian Sky in Kruszwica
Each event retains its own identity and local character while simultaneously becoming part of a broader regional narrative.
A Summer Full of Events Across the Region
“Summer in the Constellations” will also serve as a broad communication umbrella for the season of events taking place throughout the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region. The Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation also plans to actively promote other summer initiatives organised across the region – both local events and major cultural and tourism projects.
A special place will traditionally be reserved for events organised as part of the Celebration of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, organised by the Regional Self-Government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region – one of the most important and diverse event series in the region. Concerts, festivals, picnics, historical reenactments, culinary events and family-oriented activities will naturally complement the regional story created by “Summer in the Constellations”.
As a result, the project aims not only to promote individual events, but also to inspire residents and tourists to continue discovering the region – travelling between destinations, exploring new attractions and creating their own experiences connected with the region.
The Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation as an Integrator of Regional Promotion
The “Summer in the Constellations” project is an example of a modern approach to tourism promotion, in which the Kujawsko-Pomorska Tourist Organisation acts as an integrator of activities carried out by local governments, local organisations, cultural institutions and tourism partners.
The organisation not only supports the implementation of events, but above all creates a common language for regional promotion, presenting Kujawsko-Pomorskie as a place of diverse experiences – from nature and outdoor activities to culture, history, local flavours and encounters with people.
The campaign will be widely promoted through social media and regional promotional channels, encouraging people to discover the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Constellations of Good Places throughout the summer – and long after it ends.
Because “Summer in the Constellations” is not just an events calendar. It is an invitation to travel through Kujawsko-Pomorskie – a region best discovered step by step, place by place.
