Jazz Picnic at Lubostroń Palace

Music from the American South will fill the grounds of the palace and park complex in Lubostroń (Żnin County) on Saturday, 9 May. The program of the fourteenth edition of the Jazz Picnic includes a parade, a cruise along the Noteć Canal, exhibitions and plenty of music. Jazz bands from Poland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic will perform at the regional cultural institution managed by the Marshal’s Office.

I am convinced that guests of Lubostroń Palace will have a wonderful time enjoying the sounds of New Orleans jazz,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Jazz performed by six bands will take center stage at Lubostroń Palace that day. The event will officially open at 2:00 PM with a colorful parade. The program also includes a photography exhibition by Łukasz Nowak, an exhibition prepared by the Jazz Museum, a presentation of vintage vehicles from the collection of Henryk Rewers, and a lecture by Tomasz Lerski on the history of jazz.
