Fairytale Bierzgłowski Castle (photos)

On Saturday (5 September), the castle turned into a colourful fairytale world filled with jugglers, circus performers and valiant knights. Smiling children and their parents, who had a chance to rediscover the carefree days of childhood, took part in activities, games, entertainment and concerts. Participants in the family picnic at Bierzgłowski Castle were welcomed by Marshal Piotr Całbecki and his wife, Dagna Całbecka, who is also Mayor of Łubianka Municipality. The Diocesan Cultural Centre in Bierzgłowo is located within the municipality.

– Welcome to Bierzgłowski Castle, among knights, princesses and fairytale characters. I wish everyone a wonderful family gathering, plenty of great experiences and lots of fun until the evening – said Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The fairytale event at Bierzgłowski Castle began with the Grand Parade of Fairytale Characters. Participants could also enjoy an outdoor adventure game, a DIY zone, a fairytale costume rental area and, after nightfall, fire shows and video mapping projected onto the castle walls. The star of the evening was Majka Jeżowska, a popular singer whose music has been enjoyed by several generations of listeners.

The event, held under the honorary patronage of Marshal Piotr Całbecki, was organised by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Government and the Diocese of Toruń in cooperation with the Municipal Cultural Centre in Łubianka.
