Students, Apply for Scholarships! Applications Are Now Open
The most hardworking and talented students at schools in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region can receive scholarships of up to PLN 5,000. Annual scholarships are awarded under three regional self-government programmes. Applications can be submitted until 30 September. Rules and application generator.
“Good education is the key to a good future. The regional self-government attaches great importance to the quality of education and is doing a great deal to ensure that education-related expenses do not place an excessive burden on family budgets, especially those of less affluent families. We want talented young people to have the conditions they need to fully develop their potential,” says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Regional educational scholarships for students attending schools in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region are awarded for 10 months of the school year, with a total annual value of up to PLN 5,000. The amount depends on the student’s position in the ranking and the type of school they attend. The funding can be used for educational development, including purchasing books or a computer, taking part in additional classes and competitions, paying for internet access, commuting to school and accommodation.
Two scholarship projects – The Primates of the Kujawy and Pomorze II and Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze – are financed through the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021-2027 regional programme. The third, The Primate of the Kujawy and Pomorze Plus, is financed from the regional self-government budget.
The Primates of the Kujawy and Pomorze II
The project is aimed at students in grades 6-8 of primary schools, general secondary schools, grades 6-8 of first-level general music schools, second-level general music schools and visual arts secondary schools who are winners or finalists of competitions and academic olympiads. Regional self-government scholarships of PLN 300-500 per month will be awarded to 1,000 students.
