May long weekend ahead – time to shop from regional producers
The May long weekend is just around the corner—an ideal time to choose trusted, local flavors. Until 27 April, orders can be placed for fresh products from regional producers in the kujawsko-pomorskie region. The offer includes, among others, cheeses, cold cuts, fish, bread, honey, and fruit and vegetable preserves prepared in small farms and family-run workshops.
“The naszelokalne.pl project shows that good food can reach our tables directly from local producers. In this way, we support farmers and small farms in the region, while residents gain access to fresh, high-quality, and reliable products,” emphasizes Piotr Całbecki.
With the approaching May holiday, the shop has also introduced a wide selection of products perfect for barbecues and outdoor gatherings. The offer includes aromatic sausages, traditional blood sausages, as well as matured and fresh cheeses that work perfectly both on the grill and in light spring salads.
The shop operates based on the idea of short food supply chains—products go directly from farmers and producers to customers. Orders are collected in advance so that deliveries can take place immediately after production or harvest, ensuring freshness and natural taste. Products are packed in eco-friendly reusable bags.
The next delivery is scheduled for 30 April, and ordered products can be collected at four locations:
- Marshal’s Office, Plac Teatralny 2 – buffet, 3rd floor (14:30–16:00)
- Marshal’s Office, 73 Maria Skłodowska-Curie Street – room 16 (14:30–16:30)
- Auditorium of Nicolaus Copernicus University, 11 Jurija Gagarina Street (15:00–16:00)
- Przysiek, 1 B Parkowa Street – 12:00–20:00 (by prior phone arrangement – +48 504 826 202)
Within Toruń, purchases can also be delivered directly to homes between 15:00 and 20:00 on the same day. Delivery via DPD FOOD on 30 April.
Products available in the shop reach not only home kitchens. Many of them are also used in the menu of Restauracja Stodoła, where local ingredients form the basis of the dishes served. Some products can also be purchased directly on site, combining a restaurant visit with shopping for regional goods.
