Goose for St. Martin’s Day: Collect Your Goose This Saturday!

As is our tradition, we have distributed goose carcasses to residents through regional and local media competitions, giving families the opportunity to prepare a festive meal for Poland’s National Independence Day. This year, 2,026 geese have been awarded. Winners of the media competitions are invited to collect their geese this coming Saturday (24 October).

We have already announced our first competition for the best account of a family meal featuring goose as the main dish, as well as an art competition for children.

The goose carcasses can be collected on Saturday, 24 October, at designated locations in the following towns and cities:

This year’s Goose Festival will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10–11 November, in Przysiek near Toruń.
