From Tleń to Grudziądz: Midsummer Night Awaits!

A weekend full of attractions in Tleń is now behind us. Canoe trips, cycling tours, family activities, regional cuisine and an evening concert gave participants in the Summer in the Constellations programme the opportunity to spend time actively and close to nature.

Now it is time for the next stop on the map of our summer celebrations. Tomorrow, 23 June from 6:00 p.m., we invite everyone to the Vistula Riverside Meadows in Grudziądz for the Wreaths on the Vistula picnic. Visitors can enjoy wreath-making workshops, folk concerts, traditional Midsummer customs, cruises on the Vistula River, regional delicacies and a wide range of attractions for the whole family. All activities are free of charge.

The Summer in the Constellations project is a regional tourism promotion initiative created by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Tourist Organisation. Built around the region’s most attractive destinations—Toruń, Bydgoszcz, the Tuchola Forest, the Lower Vistula Valley, Kuyavia, Pałuki, the Brodnica Lake District, Kociewie, the Dobrzyń Land, the Chełmno Land and Krajna—it brings together local governments, institutions and community partners to create a coherent tourism offer for the Region. The campaign invites visitors to discover the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region and its many unique attractions.

The first events of the summer campaign Kujawsko-Pomorskie Constellations of Great Places, held under the patronage of Marshal Piotr Całbecki, took place in May. Residents and tourists gathered for the Vistula Traditions picnic in Fordon, Bydgoszcz, and for the opening of the tourist season in Brodnica under the slogan “Give Yourself Peace of Mind.”
