“Direction – Development”: subsidised training for residents
Would you like to gain new skills, develop your competencies and improve your prospects on the labour market? We encourage you to take part in the “Direction – Development” project, which offers subsidised courses, training programmes and postgraduate studies. The next application round opens on 18 August. The “Direction – Development” project, under which we will provide support to 13,500 people, is an opportunity to acquire new skills and improve one’s position on the labour market. Schedule of the upcoming application rounds:
- 18 August – general recruitment round, open to all interested persons who meet the basic programme requirements. A total of 1,000 places are available;
- 20–26 August – recruitment round for people with disabilities and people aged 50 and over. A total of 200 places are available;
- 27 August – recruitment round for residents of rural areas and towns with populations of up to 100,000. A total of 1,000 places are available.
Participants can receive funding for training courses selected from the Development Services Database, maintained by the government-run Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP). The maximum amount of support is PLN 6,400, while the participant covers only 10% of the cost of the selected service.
Commissioned by the regional government, the project is being implemented by the Voivodeship Labour Office in Toruń. The project is worth more than PLN 120 million, including over PLN 105 million in funding from the European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021–2027.
