Short Supply Chain – More New Products in the naszelokalne.pl Store

Orders for fresh products from regional producers can be placed until 22 June. The offer includes cheeses, cured meats, fish, bread, honey, and fruit and vegetable preserves made in small farms and family-run workshops.

“The naszelokalne.pl project shows that good food can reach our tables directly from local producers. In this way, we support farmers and small farms in the region, while residents gain access to fresh, reliable, high-quality products,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Among the latest additions are products from Jola’s Garden, including lilac syrup and a pumpkin-and-chocolate nut spread. New products are also available from the natural garden Four Sides of Silence, including fresh rocket, chives, Swiss chard, dill and parsley.

The store operates according to the concept of short food supply chains, with products delivered directly from farmers and producers to customers. Orders are collected in advance so that deliveries can take place immediately after production or harvest, ensuring freshness and natural flavour. Products are packed in reusable eco-friendly bags.

The next delivery is scheduled for 25 June. Ordered products can be collected at four locations:

• Marshal’s Office, Plac Teatralny 2 – cafeteria, 3rd floor (2:30 – 4:00 p.m.)
• Marshal’s Office, ul. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 73 – Room 16 (2:30 – 4:30 p.m.)
• Nicolaus Copernicus University Auditorium, ul. Jurija Gagarina 11 (3:00 – 4:00 p.m.)
• Przysiek, ul. Parkowa 1B (12:00 – 8:00 p.m., by prior telephone arrangement: +48 504 826 202)

Within Toruń, purchases can also be delivered directly to customers’ homes between 3:00 and 8:00 p.m. on the same day. DPD FOOD deliveries will take place on 26 June.

Products available through the store are used not only in home kitchens. Many of them are also featured on the menu of Stodoła Restaurant, where local ingredients form the basis of the dishes served. Some products can also be purchased directly at the restaurant, combining a visit with shopping for regional foods.
