Funds from the Marshal’s Development Fund for the modernization of a long-term care facility in Browina
The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Development Fund (KPFR), operating under the Marshal’s Office, will finance the modernization of the Nursing and Care Facility (ZOL) in Browina, in Toruń County, through a preferential loan. The loan agreement was signed today (April 7) in the presence of Marshal Piotr Całbecki, Vice-President of the Regional Parliament Katarzyna Lubańska, Regional Councillor Leszek Pluciński, and representatives of local government authorities.
A ZOL is a facility that provides round-the-clock long-term care, nursing, and rehabilitation for chronically ill patients. The renovation of the center in Browina includes a comprehensive refurbishment of the older part of the building, including major upgrades to patient rooms, bathrooms, and sanitary facilities, as well as the creation of an admissions unit. The total value of the investment, to be carried out over the course of a year, amounts to PLN 6.3 million, with the loan totaling PLN 5 million (with the possibility of writing off four-fifths of this amount).
