Creativity Without Barriers – “We Can Do It Too” Exhibition

We invite all residents of Toruń and the surrounding area to the 38th Artistic Handicraft Exhibition.

Unique, handmade, and created with heart and dedication – these are the works that will be available for purchase during the 38th Artistic Handicraft Exhibition titled “We Can Do It Too”, dedicated to the theme of Easter. Each presented item is not only a decoration but also a story, a passion, and the result of the great effort put in by its creators.

“This event shows the tremendous creative potential of the residents of our region. Handicrafts serve not only to decorate our homes but are also a path to social integration and to building a sense of empowerment among people with disabilities,” emphasises Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The exhibition will take place on 23 March in Toruń, in the buildings of the Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the following locations:

The exhibition promotes the artistic work of people with disabilities, including participants from occupational therapy workshops, community self-help homes, social welfare homes, special schools and non-governmental organisations. This year’s edition will feature representatives from 43 institutions across the region.

The handicrafts presented stand out for their diversity and originality, and the accompanying fair offers an opportunity to purchase unique Easter gifts and decorations. Proceeds from the sales will be used to support the rehabilitation of people with disabilities in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.

The event is held regularly and forms part of broader efforts to promote social inclusion, counteract stereotypes and increase the participation of people with disabilities in the cultural life of the region.
