Creativity, Passion, Talent – Awards for Artists
Fifteen talented artists from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region will receive Marshal’s scholarships to support projects in artistic creation and cultural promotion. The grants range from 6,000 to 12,000 PLN. The scholarship award gala, attended by the Chair of the Regional Assembly Elżbieta Piniewska and Board Member Marek Wojtkowski, will take place tomorrow (13 March) at the Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń.
“By recognizing representatives from various fields of culture, we want to acknowledge the passion, talent, and dedication of specific individuals, but also to showcase the richness of art and its achievements,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Marshal’s artistic scholarships are awarded twice a year. They are granted to individuals engaged in artistic creation—including film, sculpture, visual arts, music, literature, and theatre—as well as to those promoting culture and caring for historical monuments. The artists awarded in this round come from Bydgoszcz, Złotoria (Torun County), Śliwice (Tuchola County), Włocławek, and Toruń.
The artistic program of the event will feature a guitar recital by Jędrzej Kubiak, combined with a presentation of pre-war instruments made by the National company.
