Competition: “My Father – It’s Good to Be Together”
Psychologists describe the relationship with a father as a foundation for a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. It influences a child’s sense of self-worth, security, and the ability to build relationships in adult life. We are waiting for children’s works about this relationship. We invite students from primary and secondary schools in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region to take part in the 11th edition of the written work competition titled “My Father – It’s Good to Be Together.”
“The aim of the competition is to present a positive image of fatherhood from a child’s perspective. Children and young people can share their own experiences, feelings, and emotions connected with family relationships. Prizes await both the participants and their teachers or educators,” encourages Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
A total of six winners will be selected in two categories: 3 winners from primary schools, 3 winners from secondary schools. The prizes for the winners in each category will be gift vouchers worth: 600 PLN for 1st place, 400 PLN for 2nd place and 300 PLN for 3rd place.
This year, the submission of competition entries will take place in electronic form. Works can only be submitted through schools using their official email addresses. They should be sent by April 10, 2026, to: a.joppek@kujawsko-pomorskie.pl
The works will be evaluated by a competition committee appointed by the organizer. The results will be announced in June 2026 and published on the region’s website. Laureates and distinguished participants will be informed about the form and date of the award ceremony by phone or email.
