The big countdown begins! Only 10 days remain until the World Indoor Championships Kujawy–Pomorze 26! Yesterday (March 9), our relay visited the court of UKS Alfa 99 in Strzelno. There was plenty of running, goal shooting and genuine sporting passion. Today (March 10) we will visit Sępólno Krajeńskie and meet athletes during a weightlifting training session.

The World Indoor Championships Kujawy–Pomorze 26 are not only three days of competition featuring the world’s best track and field athletes, but also a programme of numerous accompanying events that will turn the entire region into a space for celebrating sport. Residents and visitors are invited to take part in concerts, exhibitions and performances that will build the championship atmosphere long before the starter’s first signal.

Competitions at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena Toruń will begin on March 20. Morning sessions will start each day at 10:05 a.m., while afternoon sessions will begin at 6:35 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5:40 p.m. on Sunday. The first medals, in the women’s high jump, will be awarded already during the first session of the championships. The last tickets are still available (on the ebilet.pl platform).
