There are 21 days to go until the World Indoor Championships. Our championship relay visited Żnin yesterday (February 26) during a training session of the women’s handball section of KS Gwiazda Żnin. Today (February 27), we will meet participants of the 11th Kujawsko-Pomorskie Special Olympics Bocce Tournament in Golub-Dobrzyń.

Competitions at the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Arena Toruń will begin on March 20. Morning sessions will start each day at 10:05 a.m., while afternoon sessions will begin at 6:35 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday. The first medals—women’s high jump—will be awarded already in the opening session of the championships.

Until March 22, Toruń Plaza shopping center will be buzzing with athletics, thanks to an exhibition opened last week by the Museum of World Athletics (MOWA). Visitors can see—free of charge—kits, shoes, medals, and equipment used by the biggest stars of athletics to win titles and set records.
