Our championship relay visited the sports hall in Kikół (Lipno County) yesterday (25 February). During volleyball and handball training sessions, the energy on the court was boosted by a special guest – Łukasz Detmer, outside hitter and assistant coach of CUK Anioły Toruń. This afternoon (26 February) we’ll be in Żnin. There are 22 days to go until the World Indoor Championships.

Competitions at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena Toruń will begin on 20 March. Morning sessions will start each day at 10:05, while afternoon sessions will begin at 18:35 on Friday and Saturday and at 17:40 on Sunday. The first medals—in the women’s high jump—will be awarded in the very first session of the championships.

Until 22 March, Toruń Plaza shopping centre will be buzzing with athletics thanks to an exhibition opened last week by the Museum of World Athletics (MOWA). Visitors can see, free of charge, kits, shoes, medals and equipment used by the greatest stars of athletics to win titles and set records.
