Indoor World Athletics Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26: This Exhibition Reveals the Behind-the-Scenes of Track and Field (Gallery)

Until 22 March, Toruń Plaza will be alive with track and field. This is thanks to the exhibition opened last week, organized by the Museum of World Athletics (MOWA). Visitors can see, free of charge, the outfits, shoes, medals, and equipment with which the greatest athletics stars won titles and set records. We invite you to view the photo report from the opening and to visit the exhibition! – Indoor World Athletics Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26

Among the artifacts are Marcus O’Sullivan’s spikes, the 1987 World 1500m Champion; Devynne Charlton’s outfit, in which she won the 2024 World Championship and set the 60m hurdles world record in Glasgow; the legendary spikes of Irena Szewińska, one of the greatest figures in sprinting history; and the shoes of four-time Olympic race walker Robert Korzeniowski. Visitors can also enjoy interactive installations, including visualizations of world records in the high jump and pole vault, as well as a shot put zone.
