The World Indoor Athletics Championships are just 29 days away! On Tuesday (17 February), our relay team took part in training sessions held under the “Athletics for Everyone” project at the LDK Wąbrzeźno club. The twentieth, jubilee stop on the route was Rypin. Today (19 February), we are meeting in Solec Kujawski with table tennis players from the UKS Top Solec Kujawski club.

Competitions at the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Arena Toruń will begin on 20 March. Morning sessions will start each day at 10:05 a.m., while afternoon sessions will begin at 6:35 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday. The first medals—women’s high jump—will be awarded in the very first session of the championships.

The countdown of one hundred days to the World Indoor Championships began with the ringing of the Tuba Dei bell.

The championship medals, featuring elements of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Tourist Organisation logo on the obverse, were presented during a press conference.
