FEdKP: from a hybrid energy module to local recreation facilities

Representatives of beneficiaries of our regional programme European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze (FEdKP) received 35 project funding agreements with a total value of nearly PLN 90 million today (6 February) at the Marshal’s Office. This time, funds are being allocated, among other things, for the modernisation of district heating networks and water supply and wastewater systems, vocational training, education, environmental education, the construction of cycling paths, and the creation of local recreation facilities. The ceremonial meeting was attended by the President of the Regional Parliament, Elżbieta Piniewska, Vice-Marshal of the Region, Aneta Jędrzejewska, and Member of the Regional Executive Board, Marek Wojtkowski.

The most expensive investment project launched today – the construction of a hybrid energy module at the Rąbin Heating Plant, which will produce both heat and electricity – will be implemented by the City of Inowrocław. The investment, worth PLN 38.5 million, includes the construction of four cogeneration units (simultaneously generating electricity and heat) with capacities of 1.92 MW and 1.559 MW of electrical power, as well as accompanying infrastructure. The value of support from FEdKP amounts to PLN 24.5 million.

Implementation of our regional programme for 2021-2027 is progressing exceptionally smoothly. With over one thousand agreements signed and contracting at the level of PLN 5 billion (64.55% of the allocation), we are the leading region in Poland in terms of implementation progress. In 2026, more than PLN 1 billion will be available for distribution under FEdKP.
