Vocational students supported by the Marshal’s programme

More than five hundred students from technical secondary schools and vocational schools will receive scholarships under the Marshal’s programme Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze. Financial support will also be provided to students talented in science and humanities — in total, more than 1,800 top students will be awarded scholarships this year. Applications for the Prymus Pomorza i Kujaw Plus programme are also open until 18 February.

“We want talented young people to have the conditions necessary to fully realise their potential. The funds provided under the Vocational Talents of Kujawy and Pomorze programme will help educate specialists in various fields who are needed on the labour market,” emphasises Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The scholarship programme is implemented with funding from the European Union under the regional programme European Funds for Kujawy and Pomorze 2021–2027. In the 2025/2026 school year, support will be provided to 520 students from the region. The monthly scholarship amounts range from PLN 200 to PLN 500. The funds may be used for purposes related to educational development, including the purchase of books or a computer, participation in additional classes and competitions, payment for internet access, travel to school, and accommodation.

Schools with the highest number of scholarship recipients include the School Complex in Mogilno (93 scholarship holders), the School Complex in Kowalewo Pomorskie in Golub-Dobrzyń County (21), the School Complex and Continuing Education Centre in Gronowo (Toruń County) (21), the Vocational and Continuing Education Centre in Brodnica (20), and the Ignacy Łyskowski School Complex and Vocational Education Centre in Grubno, Chełmno County (19).
