From the Heart for Seniors

In the pre-Christmas period, the regional self-government remembers the oldest residents of the region. All recipients of the Marshal’s Medal Unitas Durat Palatinatus Cuiaviano-Pomeraniensis are presented with Christmas greetings and symbolic gifts, delivered directly to their homes. The initiative involves Marshal Piotr Całbecki, Chairwoman of the Regional Parliament Elżbieta Piniewska, members of the Board, and regional councillors. This morning (22 December), Marshal Piotr Całbecki visited Mr. Stanisław Guliński from Toruń with a Christmas surprise.

“Christmas is a time when we especially remember the oldest residents of our region,” emphasizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

Continuing the tradition initiated in 2018 of honoring residents who have reached the age of one hundred, in 2025 Marshal Piotr Całbecki has already awarded the Unitas Durat Palatinatus Cuiaviano-Pomeraniensis medal to one hundred distinguished centenarians. Since the beginning of the initiative, the total number of honorees has risen to more than five hundred and thirty.

Families of residents of the region who will turn one hundred in 2026, as well as those who are older, are encouraged to contact us by phone at +48 56 62 18 344 or by email at: stulatkowie@kujawsko-pomorskie.pl. More information is available on our website in the “Peers of Independence” section.
