INFORMATION PORTAL OF THE MARSHAL'S OFFICE OF THE KUJAWSKO-POMORSKIE Region IN TORUŃ

Thousands of people in Toruń’s Old Town Square and millions in front of their television sets will welcome the New Year on 31 December during “Sylwestrowa Moc Przebojów”, organised by Polsat TV. Details of the event – co-organised by the regional self-government and the City of Toruń – were presented to the media at a meeting on Tuesday (16 December) by Marshal Piotr Całbecki and Mayor of Toruń Paweł Gulewski.

– Renowned artists will appear on stage, drawing millions of viewers to their television screens. In this way, we will promote not only Toruń but the entire region. I am convinced this will be a great celebration of our region, helping to build a sense of community among all its residents, emphasised Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The regional self-government, which is providing financial support for the event, will also ensure that concert participants can return home safely. Six trains from Toruń’s two railway stations will take passengers to 70 towns and cities across the region.

Ticket prices will be the same as for regular train services.

On 1 January 2025, this popular offer was used by 2,000 people – not only from our region. Passengers also came from neighbouring regions: Pomorskie Region, Wielkopolskie Region and Warmińsko-Mazurskie Region.

Entertainment during “Sylwestrowa Moc Przebojów” in Toruń will be provided, among others, by Beata and Bajm, Edyta Górniak, Golec uOrkiestra, Alicja Majewska, Lady Pank, Big Cyc, Skolim and Smolasty.
