Promoting Polish Culture and Tradition in Brussels

Yesterday (December 10) in Brussels, the traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner organized by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Regional Self-Government took place. The event was co-hosted by the Chair of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), Hungarian Kata Tüttő. With this taste of Christmas, we promoted Polish culture and tradition, as well as our regional cuisine.

The ceremonial meeting was attended by CoR representatives, including Chair Tüttő and Vice-Chair Juanma Moreno, representatives of national and regional authorities, and diplomatic representatives, including Christopher Skeete, Minister for International Relations and Francophonie of Quebec, Katarzyna Skórzyńska (Chargé d’Affaires in the Kingdom of Belgium), Arkadiusz Pluciński (Counsellor-Minister, Deputy Permanent Representative of Poland to the EU), and Members of the European Parliament. The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Regional Self-Government was represented by Marshal Piotr Całbecki, President of the Regional Parliament Elżbieta Piniewska, Vice-President Przemysław Sznajdrowski of the Regional Parliament, and Regional Councillor Marek Gralik.

The musical setting was provided by the folk band Kapela Łubianioki.
