INFORMATION PORTAL OF THE MARSHAL'S OFFICE OF THE KUJAWSKO-POMORSKIE Region IN TORUŃ

During Friday’s (5 December) final gala of the 12th edition of the “Art of Choice” programme, we announced the winners of the “Poster! Action! Reaction!” competition – a showcase of youth creativity and powerful preventive messages. From among 127 entries submitted by 23 schools, the jury selected those that most accurately and boldly address the issues of addiction, the dangers associated with using psychoactive substances, and the traps of excessive technology use.

Competition winners:

• 1^st place: Pola Kinowska (PLSP Bydgoszcz)
• 2^nd place: Maja Glazik (LSP Grudziądz)
• 3^rd place: Bianka Pająk (PLSP Bydgoszcz)

Honourable mentions were awarded to:
Patrycja Murawska, Zuzanna Zmysłowska, Antonina Buzała, Sara Ostroróg (PLSP Bydgoszcz); Kalina Słowik, Alicja Krause (NLSP Toruń); Szymon Migdalski (ZS Kruszwica).

After the official part of the event, participants took part in preventive workshops led by Dr Robert Rejniak – an expert in the field of addiction prevention – who discussed the challenges faced by contemporary youth in an accessible and engaging way.

The “Art of Choice” programme, carried out since 2011, has for years involved students in creative activities, showing that art can be an effective tool for discussing important decisions and the risks present in the world around us. The competition was organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region in Toruń, the Regional Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz, and the Tumult Foundation.
