Session of People with Disabilities

Today (3 December), the Marshal’s Office hosted the 15th session of people with disabilities, organized by the regional government. The event was prepared in cooperation with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie branch of PFRON and the Action Health Association. The session was chaired by Elżbieta Piniewska, President of the Regional Parliament, and attended by Regional Executive Board Members Dariusz Kurzawa and Marek Wojtkowski, as well as the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Vice-Voivode Michał Koniuch.

“This event is an excellent opportunity to discuss the problems that people with disabilities face daily. It also allows for a better understanding of their needs, enabling local government representatives to make appropriate and more relevant decisions. I thank everyone promoting the idea of organizing sessions for people with disabilities,” said Elżbieta Piniewska, President of the Regional Parliament.

Participants submitted interpellations, which will be forwarded to the appropriate institutions that can help address the issues raised.

The meeting is not only a platform for presenting and highlighting the challenges faced by people with disabilities, but also an opportunity to exchange experiences and formulate concrete proposals aimed at improving the quality of life for this group of residents.

The session was also enriched by a performance from Łukasz Beiger, who sang songs from the repertoire of the band Dżem.
