Goose contests concluded, winners awarded

The winners of the contests organized as part of the “Kujawsko-Pomorskie Goose for St. Martin” campaign met on 4 December at the Marshal’s Office in Toruń for the official award ceremony. Participants of the art contest for children and youth, “Sporty Goose”, as well as authors of the best reports on the celebrations of National Independence Day on 11 November with goose dishes, submitted by families and rural women’s circles, were honoured. The winners met with the Member of the Regional Executive Board, Marek Wojtkowski. Photos from the event are available for download.

“11 November is a holiday that we celebrate not only solemnly, singing patriotic songs, but also joyfully. We want to celebrate it in a fun way, with a touch of humor, which is why we announced an art contest featuring the goose in various interpretations. This year, due to the upcoming Indoor World Championships, the theme was a sporty goose. I thank everyone for the incredibly creative artworks that we received, as well as for the reports on 11 November celebrations with goose dishes,” addressed the winners Marek Wojtkowski, Member of the Regional Executive Board.
