Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Promotes Itself in Prague

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Tourist Organization (KPOT), invited by ZOPOT in Prague (the Polish Tourism Organization’s Foreign Office) and the Polish Tourism Organization (POT), participated in the Kolem světa travel festival – a two-day event filled with inspiring talks, presentations, and meetings with travelers from around the world.

During the festival, KPOT promoted the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Constellations of Good Places, showcasing the richness and diversity of the region. Representatives of Visit Bydgoszcz and Visit Toruń also encouraged visitors to discover Poland and the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region by presenting local attractions and cultural – tourism offerings.

One of the program highlights was a presentation by Veronika Jiricková (Neklidné nohy / Restless Feet), who spoke about her unconventional journey from Brno to Gdańsk. During the trip she visited, among others, Biskupin, Bydgoszcz, Grudziądz, and Chełmno – covering the entire route… on a scooter.

For 19 years, KPOT has been working with the local tourism industry and local governments, coordinating efforts to promote the region. The organization creates and disseminates the image of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie, presenting its diverse leisure and cultural offerings to residents and tourists. KPOT is led by its president, Beata Sawińska.

Local governments, Local Tourist Organizations, Local Action Groups, PTTK branches, and numerous foundations and associations – all KPOT members – jointly form the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Constellations of Good Places, whose mission is to strengthen the region’s competitiveness in the tourism market.
