A Foretaste of Christmas at the Handicraft Exhibition
On Monday (December 8), a Christmas handicraft exhibition combined with a fair titled “We Can Do It Too” will take place at the Marshal’s Office. Forty social integration institutions from across the region will present their stands. The event begins at 9 a.m. All are welcome!
“Items created with passion are not only unique home decorations, but also make excellent Christmas gifts,” invites Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Participants of occupational therapy workshops, community self-help homes, social welfare homes, special education and care centers, as well as creators associated with non-governmental organizations working for people with disabilities will present their work. All proceeds from sales will be allocated to the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
The exhibitions of works by people with disabilities, organized by the Devision for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities within the Social Affairs Department of the Marshal’s Office, are cyclical events held during the preparations for Christmas and Easter.
The event is funded by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regional Self-Government (as part of the “Equal Opportunities 2030+” project).
