Subsidies for Monument Protection – Applications Open Until 15 December
Conservation work, restoration work and construction works – applications for subsidies for monument renovation in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region are now being accepted. Documents may be submitted until 15 December. More information is available in the tab of the Department of Culture and National Heritage of the Office.
“The effects of our long-standing, nationally unique monument protection programme can be seen throughout the region. Initially, the submitted projects concerned primarily urgent repairs aimed at saving historic buildings from deterioration. Thanks to their implementation, we are now able to continue working with the owners and managers of heritage sites on tasks involving interior renovation or conservation of valuable furnishings. Restored monuments are our shared success. I encourage you to submit further applications!” – says Marshal Piotr Całbecki.
Applications with signed attachments must be submitted at the submission point in the Marshal’s Office or sent by post (the date of receipt by the Office is decisive) to the following address:

This year, nearly PLN 12 million has been allocated for the renovation of historic buildings in Kujawsko-Pomorskie. The highest amount granted was PLN 200,000. Among the selected projects are conservation and restoration works in churches — including those in small localities — palace and manor complexes, townhouses, buildings and historic structures of institutions entered in the register of monuments. Information on the scope of work carried out is available during lectures held throughout the region.
