“Sporty Goose” Art Contest – check if you’ve won!

More than a thousand drawings from all over Poland, one of the longest jury deliberations in the history of the goose-themed art contest — and we have the results! We have selected the winners of the “Sporty Goose” art competition, announced as part of this year’s “Kujawsko-Pomorskie Goose for St. Martin’s Day” campaign. Below is the list of prize-winners and honorable mentions.

Initially we feared that ‘Sporty Goose’ might be a difficult theme for an art competition. It turned out that the participants handled it brilliantly. Entries came not only from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, but also from Mazowsze and Małopolska. All the drawings were incredibly colorful and creative. That’s why the jury had quite a task selecting only thirty-two winners from among several hundred works. I offer my heartfelt congratulations to the winners and those receiving distinctions — being selected from among more than a thousand participants is quite an achievement,” summarizes Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

This year’s theme, “Sporty Goose,” referred both to the sporting traditions of Kujawsko-Pomorskie and to the World Athletics Indoor Championships, which will take place in Toruń on March 20–22, 2026. The jury included, among others, Joanna Reif and Anna Rozłucka, artists from the Art and Education Department of the Gallery and Center of Children’s Artistic Creation in Toruń. The winning artworks are presented in the gallery.
