Agricola – Son of the Soil: Today We Will Meet the Winners!

Recognizing the most enterprising farmers, showcasing women’s economic initiatives, and promoting modern agriculture are the goals guiding the organizers of the Agricola – Son of the Soil competition for the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Award. The laureates will be announced during this afternoon’s (November 7) gala at the Horzyca Theatre.

“We are pleased to honor and promote the most enterprising farmers and engaged rural leaders. Thanks to them, the countryside of Kujawy and Pomorze is modernizing at an impressive pace while preserving and nurturing everything in rural tradition that deserves our care and attention,” emphasized Marshal Piotr Całbecki.

The competition is open to individuals who have lived and managed a farm in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region for at least two years, as well as women engaged in professional or social activities in the rural areas of our region.

The winners will be selected in three categories:

  • traditional agriculture,
